Two tests document the identity of each batch: high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS). This note records what each one documents.
HPLC records the compound’s retention profile against a reference. The material passes through a column, and the time it takes to elute is recorded and compared to a known reference for that compound.
LC-MS records the compound’s measured mass, which is documented to confirm molecular identity. Both are carried out by a third-party laboratory and recorded on the batch’s certificate of analysis, available on request.
These are records of laboratory testing carried out on the batch. They document compound identity for research use and are not a claim of suitability or fitness for any use.
