Who this policy covers

This policy explains how livvmore, operated by livvmore, collects, uses and looks after personal data when you use this website. For the purposes of data protection law, livvmore is the data controller responsible for your personal data. This policy is in force from 12 August 2026.

Information we collect

When you contact us through the enquiry form on our /contact/ page, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, email address, organisation, subject and message. If the request-a-quote flow is switched on, we collect the same enquiry details together with the compounds you list.

Our servers also record standard technical information in log files, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time of each request. We do not collect payment information, and we do not ask for more personal data than we need.

How we use your information

We use the information described above to respond to and manage your enquiries, to prepare and send quotes where you request them, to operate, secure and maintain the website, to keep records we are required to hold by law, and to detect and reduce fraudulent or unauthorised activity. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Legal bases for processing

Where data protection law such as the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent, where you have given it, for example when you submit an enquiry. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Contractual necessity, where processing is needed to take steps at your request or to fulfil an order or quote.
  • Legal obligation, where we must process data to comply with the law.
  • Legitimate interests, where processing is needed to run, secure and improve the website and to understand and respond to enquiries, provided your rights do not override those interests.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. These include:

  • the right to know what personal data we hold and to request access to it;
  • the right to correction of data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • the right to deletion of your data in the circumstances allowed by law;
  • the right to restrict or object to certain processing;
  • the right to data portability, where it applies;
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time; and
  • the right not to face discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

If you are a California resident, you also have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is no sale for you to opt out of.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the enquiry form on our /contact/ page. We will respond within the timeframe set by applicable law and may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and deliver our services, such as hosting, email delivery and shipping partners, and only to the extent they need it to perform those services on our behalf. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property and integrity of livvmore and others.

Payment information

No payment data is collected through this website. Checkout is not live, and we do not collect or store card numbers, bank details or any other payment information. If online ordering is introduced later, this policy will be updated first, and any payment would be handled by an approved payment provider under its own terms and privacy notice.

Cookies

This website uses essential cookies only. Before launch, a preview-access cookie remembers that you have entered the preview password. When the request-a-quote flow is switched on, a cart cookie keeps the compounds you have added together between pages so your quote request stays intact. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and none will be added without separate approval and notice. For more detail, see our Cookie policy.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy, or for as long as the law requires, whichever is longer. Enquiry and quote records are kept for the period needed to manage the request and any follow-up and to meet our record-keeping duties, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Server log files are kept for a short operational period and then removed.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These include restricted access, encrypted connections for data in transit, and regular review of our systems. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot warrant its absolute security.

International data transfers

livvmore operates from the United States, and your information may be processed in, or transferred to, countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent recognised mechanism, so that it continues to receive protection consistent with this policy and applicable law.

Eligibility: researchers, not minors

This website and the materials offered on it are intended for qualified researchers and institutions only. All items are research materials shipped cold-chain and are supplied for laboratory research only, not for human or veterinary use. The website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 21. By using this website you confirm that you are at least 21 and are acting in a professional or institutional research capacity. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us through the /contact/ form and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the date shown above, and any material change will be signalled clearly on this page. Please review this policy periodically so you stay informed about how we look after your personal data.
