What a peptide is
A peptide is a short chain of amino acids. In a research setting, peptides are studied as defined chemical compounds, each with a specific molecular weight, a CAS number and an amino-acid sequence that together identify the material.
The compounds in this catalogue are supplied as lyophilized powder for laboratory research. This reference describes how those compounds are identified and documented. It does not describe how any compound behaves in a living system. No health, medical, therapeutic or performance claims are made or implied.
How a compound is identified
Each product page lists the same factual fields: format, appearance, molecular weight, CAS number and sequence. Together these identify the compound. They are factual identity fields only, not guidance of any kind.

How each batch is documented

Batch and lot assignment
Each production run is given a batch number and lot, recorded with its production and retest dates.

Independent testing
A sample from each batch is tested to document the material’s identity, with the method and result recorded in the batch certificate of analysis.

Certificate of analysis
The results are recorded in a certificate of analysis, available per batch.

Storage and handling
The compound is supplied as lyophilized powder and stored refrigerated at 2–8°C, protected from light and moisture.
