Policy
Returns, Replacements & Refunds
Effective Date: 12 August 2026
1. Purpose and Scope
This Returns, Replacements & Refunds Policy (the “Policy”) governs claims relating to products purchased from livvmore through its website or other authorized sales channels. By placing an order, the purchaser (“Customer”) acknowledges and agrees that this Policy forms part of the terms and conditions applicable to the transaction.
livvmore supplies research materials solely for legitimate laboratory and research purposes. Products are not intended, labeled, represented, or supplied for human or veterinary use, consumption, administration, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or therapeutic application.
This Policy applies to all orders except to the extent that a different written agreement signed by livvmore expressly provides otherwise, or applicable law requires a different remedy.
2. Final Sale and No Change-of-Mind Returns
Except as expressly provided in this Policy or as otherwise required by applicable law, all sales are final once an order has been dispatched.
livvmore does not accept returns, cancellations, exchanges, credits, or refunds after dispatch solely because the Customer changes their mind, orders the incorrect product or quantity, no longer requires the product, fails to use the product, or determines that the product is unsuitable for the Customer’s intended research.
Products returned without prior written authorization from livvmore may be refused, discarded, or otherwise handled as livvmore reasonably determines, subject to applicable law. The acceptance or receipt of a returned product does not constitute approval of a claim, refund, credit, or replacement.
3. Damaged, Defective, Missing or Incorrect Products
A Customer who believes that a product was damaged in transit, materially defective when delivered, missing from the shipment, or materially different from the product ordered must notify livvmore within seven (7) calendar days after recorded delivery.
The Customer must submit the claim through the livvmore contact form at /contact/ and provide sufficient information for livvmore to investigate the claim, including where applicable:
- the order number and Customer contact details
- the product name, quantity, and applicable batch or lot reference
- a detailed description of the alleged damage, defect, shortage, or error
- clear photographs of the affected product and its labeling
- clear photographs of the external and internal shipping packaging where relevant
- evidence of any visible shipping damage; and
any additional information reasonably requested by livvmore in connection with its investigation.
The Customer must retain the affected product, packaging, labels, and supporting documentation until livvmore confirms in writing that they may be discarded or are no longer required for assessment.
4. Claim Review and Verification
Submission of a claim does not constitute acceptance of liability and does not automatically entitle the Customer to a refund, replacement, credit, or other remedy.
livvmore reserves the right to investigate and verify any claim before determining whether a remedy is appropriate. The investigation may include review of order records, fulfillment and shipping records, photographs, product and batch documentation, tracking information, correspondence, and any other information reasonably relevant to the claim.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, livvmore may deny a claim where the Customer fails to provide reasonably requested evidence, fails to preserve the affected product or packaging where requested, submits the claim outside the applicable notification period, or where the available evidence does not reasonably establish that the alleged issue existed at the time of delivery.
5. Replacement or Refund at livvmore’s Discretion
Where livvmore approves a claim, and except where applicable law requires a particular remedy, livvmore may, in its sole and reasonable discretion, determine the appropriate remedy.
The available remedy may include:
- replacement of the affected product with the same product
- replacement with a reasonably equivalent product where the original product is unavailable
- reshipment of a missing or incorrectly supplied product
- a partial refund or credit where only part of an order is affected; or
a refund of the amount actually paid for the affected product.
livvmore will generally seek to replace an approved damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect product where replacement stock is reasonably available. livvmore may instead issue a refund or credit where replacement is unavailable, impractical, disproportionate, or otherwise considered appropriate by livvmore, subject at all times to applicable law.
The Customer does not have an automatic right to elect a refund instead of a replacement unless such a right is provided by applicable law.
6. Refund Processing
Any refund approved by livvmore will ordinarily be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction. livvmore is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, payment processors, or other third-party financial institutions after the refund has been submitted for processing.
Unless required by applicable law, shipping charges, expedited shipping charges, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, transaction fees, or other third-party charges are not refundable unless livvmore expressly approves reimbursement in writing.
A refund or replacement applies only to the product or portion of the order that livvmore determines is affected. Approval of one claim does not create an entitlement to a remedy for any other product, order, or future transaction.
7. Circumstances Generally Excluded from Claims
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, livvmore may reject claims arising from or relating to circumstances occurring after delivery or outside livvmore’s reasonable control, including:
- change of mind or ordering error by the Customer
- misuse, mishandling, contamination, alteration, tampering, or unauthorized modification of a product
- failure to follow product labeling, documentation, handling instructions, or other information supplied with the product
- damage caused after delivery, including damage caused by the Customer or a third party
- use of a product for any unauthorized, unlawful, human, veterinary, diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical purpose
- normal variation that does not materially affect the product as supplied for its stated research purpose; or
claims that cannot reasonably be verified from the evidence available.
8. Unauthorized Returns
No product may be returned to livvmore unless livvmore has first provided written authorization and return instructions. Customers must not independently ship products back to livvmore without such authorization.
livvmore does not guarantee reimbursement of return shipping or other costs incurred without prior written authorization. Unauthorized returns do not create an obligation on livvmore to issue a refund, replacement, or credit.
9. Fraudulent, Abusive or Duplicate Claims
livvmore reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to reject claims that it reasonably determines are fraudulent, misleading, abusive, duplicative, unsupported, or submitted in bad faith. livvmore may request identity, payment, shipping, or other reasonable verification where necessary to protect against fraud or misuse of the claims process.
10. Limitation and Preservation of Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, waive, or modify any right, warranty, guarantee, remedy, liability, or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, waived, or modified under applicable federal, state, or local law.
Where applicable law provides the Customer with a mandatory remedy that conflicts with a provision of this Policy, the mandatory legal requirement will apply to the extent of the conflict.
No provision of this Policy should be interpreted as limiting livvmore’s obligations in circumstances where such limitation is prohibited by law.
11. No Admission of Liability
The provision of a replacement, refund, credit, reshipment, or other accommodation by livvmore does not constitute an admission of fault, defect, negligence, breach of contract, or legal liability. livvmore may provide a remedy as a commercial accommodation without admitting liability.
12. Policy Changes
livvmore may amend this Policy from time to time. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the version of the Policy in effect on the date an order is placed will apply to that order. Any amendment will apply prospectively and will not reduce rights that have already accrued under applicable law.
13. Severability
If any provision of this Policy is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or other authority of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14. Governing Law
This Policy and claims arising from purchases from livvmore are governed by the laws applicable to the relevant transaction in the United States, without limiting any mandatory consumer or other statutory protections that apply under federal, state, or local law.
Nothing in this section is intended to require a Customer to waive any jurisdiction, venue, or other legal right that cannot lawfully be waived.
15. How to Submit a Claim
Claims concerning damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect products must be submitted through the contact form at /contact/ within the time period stated in this Policy.
Please include the order number, applicable batch or lot reference, a detailed explanation of the issue, and supporting photographs or documentation. livvmore may contact the Customer for additional information before making a determination.
