Research and testing documentation

This page brings together the documentation behind the catalogue: how each production batch is tested, where the certificates are published, and the public registry entries that confirm what each compound is. Every product is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research.

How our products are tested

Every production batch is independently tested at the University of Southern California (USC) Alfred E. Mann Multi-Omics Mass Spectrometry Core, a university laboratory, using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS / HRMS). A certificate of analysis is documented for each batch.

Two separate questions are answered for every batch. Identity confirms that the molecule present is the one named on the label, by matching the measured intact mass to the mass calculated from the compound’s molecular formula. Estimated purity is reported as the main-peak percentage by area. Both figures are recorded on the certificate alongside the batch or lot number that ties the document to a single production run. The full testing approach is described on the quality and testing page.

Published batch results

Each tested batch is published as a certificate of analysis, collected in the certificate library rather than kept on request. The library lists every documented compound with its CAS reference, batch number, estimated purity, the method used and the testing laboratory, and links the certificate on each product page.

Compound identity references

A compound’s identity is anchored by its public registry entries: a CAS Registry Number and a PubChem compound record each point to one defined substance. The table below links those entries for the documented compounds in the catalogue, so a stated identity can be checked against an independent source rather than taken on trust. These are identity-verification references only.
